European Walnut Burl| Burr Veneer
Walnut Burl Veneer European
  • These wild burrs grow mainly in the western part of the old Soviet states.
  • During the former Soviet Union it was forbidden for the logs to be felled as they were an important source of Walnuts for the local communities who all had a share of ownership in the walnut trees.
  • The trees grow in all shapes and sizes and converting the logs into veneer is quite challenging because of the awkward shapes of the logs.
  • But the end result is worth it because the timber yields the most beautiful grain patterns with a warm brown colour with super contrast in the grain. Most logs are very sappy and the veneer is used in high quality projects
  • RELIANCE VENEER keep a good stockholding of Burl and Cluster and selected stocks of AA Burl.
